Wendy Ruocco has been in the hospitality industry for the past 28 years. She has had the luxury of working for some of the larger companies in the country as well as smaller, individually owned companies. Her expertise lies in putting people in the right position to best serve their skill sets.
As a restaurant manager for Macaroni Grill, Wendy was in charge of all of the front of house operations including scheduling, training, and ordering. With Maggiano’s Little Italy, she was a manager, a trainer, and ultimately a catering sales manager. As she progressed in her career with them she built a 3.5 million dollar annual catering business.
Wendy did take a break to begin and raise a family, and while doing so often worked part time to keep her resume: in the game”. She was in sales and Marketing for Marriott Vacation Club International and broke sales records as a rule there. She built a large referral based clientele in the mortgage industry and learned the art of mobile marketing at National Payments.
For the past 4 years, she has been part of a privately owned restaurant group where she came into a company without catering and designed an entire department that included banquet sales, and off premise catering. She built a team of 12 people who over the past 4 years have added more than $6 million dollars to the sales of the group.
