A well-established full-service restaurant in Joplin is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations, develop teams, and drive strong sales in a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations with full P&L responsibility
• Develop, coach, and mentor managers and hourly staff
• Drive a culture of hospitality, service excellence, and accountability
• Ensure consistent execution of food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Build scheduling strategies that balance guest needs and labor targets
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost-control systems (food, labor, and beverage)
• Manage hiring, training, retention, and performance evaluations
• Participate in local store marketing and community engagement
• Create an environment where both guests and staff love to be

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of full-service restaurant General Manager experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Hands-on, engaged style — visible on the floor and in the kitchen
• Proven success improving operations, managing costs, and driving sales
• High comfort level with high-volume dining, bar operations, and fast-paced services
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000 – $80,000 base salary
