Restaurant Assistant Manager – No Late Nights

Location: Manahawkin, NJ

We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep the restaurant running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take the next step in their restaurant career. Best of all, our hours don’t run late into the night, giving you more balance outside of work.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, support the team, and make sure every guest has a positive experience.

What You’ll Do

Support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations.
Lead and coach team members to deliver excellent service and quality food.
Help with scheduling, training, and developing staff.
Monitor inventory and place orders to keep supplies on track.
Pitch in wherever needed — from the front counter to the kitchen.
Assist with resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For

1+ year of restaurant or foodservice leadership experience (shift leader, supervisor, or manager).
A positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills.
Ability to stay organized and handle a variety of tasks.
Commitment to great customer service.
Flexibility to work some weekends and early mornings — but no late nights.
