Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff, provide training, direct work, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily food prep, cooking, and plating, stepping in for the Head Chef to ensure smooth service.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet Lily Ann's high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Inventory & Supplies: Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
- Guest Experience: Work with front-of-house to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Menu & Development: Assist with menu planning and development, particularly for a steakhouse setting.
- Food Safety: Maintain strict health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking.
- Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of steakhouse cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
