Location: Temecula, CA
Compensation: $27 to $30 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
About the Company:
A well-established hospitality and winery group located in the heart of Southern California Wine Country is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist. This company operates a luxury boutique hotel and vineyards with a focus on sustainability, guest experience, and top-tier service. The role offers the opportunity to work in a scenic environment that combines high standards with a collaborative, people-first culture.
Summary:
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and COO, this role will manage a variety of digital, administrative, and creative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and a strong communicator capable of juggling deadlines, third-party marketing partners, and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Duties:
- Coordinate with external marketing agencies for digital, social media, and PR campaigns
- Manage 5+ social media accounts with 2-4 weekly posts per channel
- Draft copy and creative concepts for email, social, and internal marketing content
- Conduct audits of company and third-party websites
- Oversee photo/video shoots and maintain asset libraries
- Support community engagement through review responses and donation requests
Administrative & Communication Duties:
- Act as a liaison among executives, departments, and vendors
- Take and prepare meeting notes, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain marketing calendars and communicate project timelines
- Book travel and manage schedules for executives as needed
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite / Canva
- Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
- Social media platforms and basic editing tools
- DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic video/audio equipment
- Knowledge of HTML, email platforms, and digital marketing tools a plus
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing or administrative support within hospitality, retail, or similar environment
