About the Opportunity


A destination brewpub in the heart of Idyllwild is hiring a hands on Kitchen Manager and Restaurant Manager Hybrid to support both back of house and front of house execution. Known for handcrafted beer, elevated cocktails, and chef driven food, this high volume, service driven restaurant serves locals and visitors year round. This is

an on site leadership role for someone who can drive strong service standards, keep the kitchen running clean and organized, and lead teams with consistency and urgency.

Key Responsibilities


Restaurant Operations and Service Execution


  • Lead daily shift execution across front of house and back of house
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, guest ready restaurant environment
  • Partner with bar and kitchen leadership to keep service flow tight and efficient

Kitchen Leadership and Execution

  • Support kitchen line execution during peak periods and help keep tickets moving
  • Reinforce sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling standards
  • Monitor prep, station readiness, and kitchen organization to support consistent output
  • Communicate clearly with culinary team on pace, priorities, and quality expectations

Front of House Leadership

  • Lead servers, hosts, and support staff with confidence and professionalism
  • Coach in the moment during shifts and reinforce service standards
  • Support guest flow, table turns, and coordination with the host team

Guest Experience and Recovery

  • Engage with guests during service to ensure satisfaction
  • Resolve guest issues quickly, calmly, and professionally
  • Maintain a high standard of hospitality and personalized service

Safety, Compliance, and Communication

  • Ensure compliance with health, cleanliness, and safety standards across all areas
  • Act as a key communicator between front and back of house
  • Ensure dietary and allergy communication is handled accurately and consistently

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2 plus years of management experience in a full service restaurant or brewpub environment
  • Comfortable leading teams in both front of house and kitchen adjacent operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service instincts
  • Calm, solutions focused, and steady under pressure
  • Solid understanding of restaurant health and safety standards
  • Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to live in or commute reliably to Idyllwild, CA
