Executive Pastry Chef – Fine Dining


Our award-winning, independent restaurant in Chestnut Hill, MA, is seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our growing team. Known for our seasonally inspired, farm-to-table cuisine and exceptional hospitality, we pride ourselves on creating innovative dishes from fresh, natural ingredients.


We are looking for an established Pastry Chef who can bring structure and organization to our pastry department. In this role, you will uphold our cherished traditional dishes while introducing new, creative desserts that align with our culinary vision. Position: Executive Pastry Chef


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, train, and mentor the pastry team to ensure high performance.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation for all pastry items.
  • Drive departmental profitability through effective cost analysis and P&L management.
  • Oversee equipment sanitation, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly to delegate tasks and ensure adherence to established standards.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Proven ability to implement systems and routines to organize a pastry department.
  • A culinary degree in pastry is preferred.
  • Must have weekend availability.
