Title of Position: Group Sales Manager
Compensation: $80k to $85k
Job Responsibilities: The Group Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic group sales plans tailored to Hawaii’s diverse markets, including corporate, leisure, and SMERF segments, to ensure the necessary bookings are secured to meet the hotel's group revenue goals. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, presentations, proactive outside sales calls, and negotiating contracts while collaborating closely with Revenue Management to maximize profitability. The Group Sales Manager will manage accurate records in Hilton CRM systems, generate regular performance reports, and represent the hotel at trade shows, tourism boards, and industry events. Additional duties involve supervising the Sales and Events department and marketing initiatives, closely coordinating with internal departments for seamless execution of group events, and staying informed on competitor activity and market trends. This position is considered a part of the hotel's leadership committee and will participate in hotel meetings for upcoming events, budget planning, and general operations.

Qualifications:
- The Group Sales Manager should always be able to provide consistent support for the success of the operation
- Trust, honesty, integrity, and a true passion for customer satisfaction are requirements for the Group Sales Manager
- The Group Sales Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial results and exceeding guest expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of hotel group sales experience, ideally in resort or destination markets
- Demonstrated proficiency in Delphi, OnQ R&I, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Hawaii’s tourism industry and travel patterns
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state
