Restaurant General Manager

$60,000 - $70,000 a year

We are a large patio centric bar and grill in West Des Moines, and we are in need of strong leadership for our high volume, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will potentially fill the role of GM in the future based on performance or will be hired as GM based off experience.

Responsibilities include:

Engaging with customers at all times to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Managing and directing the bar, service, and kitchen staff to execute excellence.

Providing a fun and energetic environment where guests and employees alike enjoy being.

Guiding and training staff to be excellent, and prepared for the future growth of the company.

Managing daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance.

Utilizing social media to promote the business.

Strategic planning to maximize long term performance.

Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness, sanitization and organization.

Managing inventory and loss prevention through hands on management and heads-up awareness.

Administrative duties including writing schedules, managing daily invoices, and paying vendors.

Other duties as assigned by the owners.

Qualifications:

• The Restaurant General Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree on honesty and integrity
• Open availability is a requirement for the Restaurant GM
• The ability to drive positive sales and raise guest counts is a must for the General Manager
• The Restaurant General Manager must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
• This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
