We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our campground facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience while preserving the natural beauty and operational excellence of our properties. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations, from routine maintenance and repairs to long-term infrastructure planning and sustainability initiatives.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day problem-solving. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate with external vendors, and work closely with other departments to ensure that all facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, a passion for the outdoors, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact the guest experience.

Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of all campground facilities, including cabins, restrooms, recreational areas, utilities, pools, and common spaces.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet safety and regulatory standards, conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, renovations, or installations.
- Budget Management: Manage the facilities budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Guest Experience: Respond promptly to guest concerns related to facilities and ensure a positive resolution.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Support and implement eco-friendly practices to align with the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Emergency Response: Act as the point of contact for facility-related emergencies, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and facilities management required. (Experience with water filtration systems is preferred).
- Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) License or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification is a significant plus.
- Must have pool experience.
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, and management is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be available "on call" for emergencies.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must maintain composure under pressure.
