General Manager — Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
Location: Belton, Texas
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 + Bonus

Reports To: District Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations in Belton, TX. This leader will be responsible for the full performance of the restaurant — people, product, and profitability. The right candidate understands how to balance guest satisfaction with strong cost controls and efficient operations.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, developing employees, and using operational metrics to improve sales, staffing efficiency, and service execution. You will function as the primary operator of the restaurant and the standard-bearer for brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Brand Standards
- Ensure consistent execution of all company procedures, food quality standards, and food safety requirements.
- Maintain compliance with all local health department regulations and company policies.
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and product rotation to reduce waste and shortages.
- Monitor speed of service and staffing deployment to maintain efficient service during peak periods.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs when necessary.
Financial Performance
- Manage the restaurant’s Profit & Loss results.
- Control food cost and labor percentages through scheduling, ordering, and operational discipline.
- Prepare weekly schedules based on forecasted sales and staffing needs.
- Oversee proper cash handling, deposits, and daily reconciliation procedures.
- Track performance metrics and implement action plans to improve sales and profitability.
Team Leadership & Staffing
- Recruit, hire, and train team members and shift leaders.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to employees.
- Build a positive team culture that improves retention and accountability.
- Develop future leaders within the restaurant.
- Ensure all employees complete required training and certifications.
Guest Experience
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote a friendly, fast, and welcoming service environment.
- Review guest feedback and adjust operations to improve service and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or strong Assistant Manager in QSR or Fast Casual
- Experience managing labor, food cost, and daily operations
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory processes
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week as business needs require
