Compensation: $95k to $115k plus relocation assistance


Job Responsibilities:


The Assistant Director of Finance will support the Director of Finance in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing insights on financial performance.
  • Assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes.
  • Monitoring cash flow and optimizing cash management strategies.
  • Collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior finance staff to foster professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the hospitality or AOAO (condo owner) industry
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with AOAO (condo owner) operations preferred
  • Hospitality industry experience is a plus
