Title of Position: Service Manager
Compensation: $43k to $45k plus bonus; based on experience. Bonus potential is 10% of annual salary.
Job Description:
The Service Manager assists the General Manager in daily restaurant operations while helping achieve planned sales, profitability, service, and guest satisfaction goals. The Service Manager provides direction to restaurant team members, ensures company policies and procedures are followed, and maintains high standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. The Service Manager will assist with staffing, training, scheduling, employee development, performance management, and daily supervision of restaurant personnel. This position is responsible for ensuring the restaurant is properly staffed with well-trained and productive team members. The Service Manager will also help oversee inventory levels, ordering procedures, facility maintenance, equipment care, cash handling, payroll accuracy, productivity, food costs, operating expenses, and overall compliance with restaurant standards. The Service Manager must be able to identify and correct service or operational issues quickly to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who is willing to assist in all areas of the restaurant as needed while maintaining a positive, professional, and productive work environment.

Qualifications:
The Service Manager must possess 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience; food service experience is preferred
A high school diploma is required; some college or degree is preferred
The Service Manager must have strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
The Service Manager must be able to train, coach, and develop hourly team members
The Service Manager must have a proven ability to maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
The Service Manager must be able to assist with staffing, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, payroll, and operating expense controls
The Service Manager must be able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
The Service Manager must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
