Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a vibrant, high-energy restaurant in New York City. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and leading a team of dedicated staff to deliver a memorable dining experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong

management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service by monitoring service standards and addressing any guest concerns promptly.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, events, and holidays.
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels to support daily operations.
Monitor financial performance, including labor costs, food costs, and overall profitability, and take corrective actions as needed.
Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new guests.
Lead by example, providing hands-on leadership and support to staff during busy service periods.
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support ongoing training and development for team members.
Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale setting.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism.
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, POS systems, and financial reporting.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operational schedule.
