A popular bakery in Mountainside, NJ is seeking an experienced and motivated Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team of bakery staff. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a passion for high-quality baked goods, and the ability to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily bakery operations, including production, sales, and customer service.
Lead, train, and mentor bakery staff to maintain consistent quality and productivity.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food costs to optimize profitability.
Ensure all baked goods meet established quality, presentation, and freshness standards.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Schedule staff effectively to meet production and service demands.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide a seamless customer experience.
Assist with menu planning, seasonal offerings, and new product development.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bakery management or a similar role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of bakery production techniques, recipes, and equipment.
Experience with inventory management, cost control, and scheduling.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
