Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant in the heart of New York City. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences, and has a proven track record of operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily restaurant operations including service, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the management and hourly teams to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a consistent premium dining experience.
Drive profitability through effective cost control, budgeting, and labor management.
Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to maintain menu integrity, quality, and consistency.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to foster a positive and engaged work culture.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
Analyze business performance and implement strategies to improve sales and efficiency.
Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

5+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or senior leadership role.
Proven success in managing a high-volume, upscale or trend-forward restaurant.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of financials, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
Exceptional guest service mindset and team development skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
