Position Summary:
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations within a high-volume, upscale dining and nightlife environment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, strong beverage program execution, and effective team leadership while maintaining profitability, consistency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality beverage execution, and efficient workflow
- Supervise, train, and develop bartenders, barbacks, and support staff to maintain strong performance standards
- Maintain a high level of guest engagement, ensuring an elevated and welcoming bar experience
- Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock control to manage costs and minimize waste
- Develop and enforce standard recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines for all beverages
- Monitor labor, beverage costs, and overall bar profitability to meet financial targets
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, health codes, and safety regulations
- Create and maintain bar schedules to align with business volume and staffing needs
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service coordination
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage cost control
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
