Title of Position: Executive Pastry Chef
Job Description: As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will play an essential role in our establishment by assisting in all aspects of food production and execution. This includes managing the staff and ensuring that they are working within designated labor budgets while maintaining high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for training and leading the team to ensure consistency, quality, and technique. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be a part of the management team, working closely with other managers to improve our business and menu. You must establish and maintain positive relationships with managers, staff, and vendors. Health and safety standards will also be a top priority as you train and work with the team. Overall, your main responsibilities will revolve around creating a positive working environment while consistently delivering high-quality products that align with our brand and meet sales potential.

Qualifications:
  • The Executive Pastry Chef must have culinary experience in a supervisory or management role with a minimum of 5 years of pastry preparation and 3 years in management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for the Executive Pastry Chef
  • The Executive Pastry Chef must be available on holidays, weekends, events, and other peak periods of the restaurant business
  • The ability to work with others to design, implement, and continuously improve the systems and procedures that lead to success is required for the Executive Pastry Chef
