Position Summary
The Chef is responsible for leading all kitchen operations while delivering high-quality, consistent food in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment. This role oversees menu execution, kitchen staff development, food safety, and cost control while collaborating with restaurant leadership to create an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, line execution, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and execution.
  • Execute and maintain menu standards, recipes, and plating guidelines.
  • Manage food cost, portion control, waste reduction, and inventory to meet budget goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Create daily specials and contribute to menu development as appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Schedule kitchen staff appropriately to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to align kitchen operations with service expectations.
  • Address and resolve kitchen-related issues quickly and professionally during service.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of culinary leadership experience in a full-service or high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering systems, and vendor relations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on kitchen environment.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
