Position Summary:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. This role ensures consistent food quality, strong kitchen execution, and strict adherence to food safety standards while leading and developing a large culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient production, timely service, and consistent food quality
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, and porters
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the kitchen
- Oversee food preparation, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistency across all menu items
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to control food costs and minimize waste
- Monitor kitchen labor, productivity, and efficiency to meet operational and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth and timely service execution
- Conduct regular line checks, quality assurance reviews, and equipment inspections
- Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of kitchen team members
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of kitchen management or supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
