Cherie has over 15 years of hotel management experience in both operations as an assistant hotel general manager and in human resources managing all aspects of people and culture from recruiting to retainment strategies. A dedicated hospitality professional, Cherie’s strengths have been building and organizing teams by using her training and instincts to be great judge of people’s character and potential; and using those in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating her staff.
Cherie has been able to balance both operations and employee satisfaction by increasing productivity while providing high employee retention through recognition programs and effective training. Her strategies drove the implementation of new policies that created high performing, award winning teams. That balance of operational efficiency, care for the human side by cultivating a great culture all while providing elevated guest service is somewhat of a rare trait in today’s employee experience. Cherie enjoys spending time with her husband Phil, discovering new restaurants in the area, and the outdoors.
