Maria Ramoundos began her restaurant career over 30 years ago, starting as a server and working her way up to Vice President of Operations in one of the highest volume restaurants in New Jersey. Being hands on in all facets of the restaurant industry she quickly realized training and development was her passion. Being able to connect with people and helping them fulfill their potential is what matters most.
Maria has been successful in building high performing teams, creating leaders in the industry who focus on steps of service, food quality, cost control and executional excellence. Throughout her tenure she is most proud of the relationships she has been able to build with vendors, salespeople, managers and peers.
A NJ native when not working she is spending time with her two children and planning her next vacation. She is excited about this opportunity and cannot wait to join the Gecko Hospitality team.
