Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of a growing restaurant group. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, providing leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and operational strategy to ensure profitability and long-term success.
As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will drive financial decision-making, optimize resources, and support the group’s expansion efforts. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and support the group’s growth objectives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve revenue streams and cost efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate resources to support operations and growth initiatives.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and monitor financial performance against goals.
  • Collaborate with restaurant leadership to establish pricing strategies and cost controls.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, including new locations, renovations, and partnerships.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, landlords, and other stakeholders to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant-specific financial metrics, such as food and labor cost percentages.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial systems and software, including proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
