Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure efficient and timely completion of all kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Manage and Train Kitchen Staff: Handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Uphold Quality Standards: Maintain high food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate Financially: Work closely with the General Manager to meet financial goals through cost control and menu planning.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and order supplies while controlling waste and spoilage.
  • Enhance Guest Experience: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure Health Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation and coaching.
  • Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and proper handling techniques.
  • Inventory Proficiency: Expertise in inventory management and cost control.
