Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead and manage the guest experience in our upscale, high-energy establishment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring a seamless operation by overseeing day-to-day front-of-house activities, supervising staff, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the front-of-house, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and other front-of-house staff, fostering a positive work culture.
  • Oversee guest interactions to ensure exceptional service and handle guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high service standards and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure communication and efficiency across departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and any special accommodations.
  • Ensure that all front-of-house areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Monitor and enforce all safety, cleanliness, and health standards in front-of-house operations.
  • Handle inventory control for front-of-house supplies, ensuring proper ordering and stock levels.
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak hours and events.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Handle cash and financial transactions as required, including overseeing tip distribution and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a front-of-house management role in a high-volume, upscale setting is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse group of employees.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints and operational challenges with a calm demeanor.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and basic office tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
