Compensation: $75,000 (Seasonal) – Potential for Full-Time Role
Overview
We are seeking a Seasonal Pool Manager to oversee the daily operations of our luxury pool area at a premier winery in Temecula Wine Country. This role ensures a high standard of guest service, safety, and operational efficiency while creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for visitors. The ideal candidate has strong hospitality experience, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This seasonal position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Pool Operations & Guest Experience:
- Manage all aspects of the pool area, ensuring a luxury resort-style guest experience.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the pool deck and surrounding areas.
- Oversee towel service, poolside dining, and beverage operations to ensure timely and attentive service.
- Staff Supervision & Training:
- Hire, train, and manage seasonal pool staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels based on guest demand.
- Lead by example, fostering a team-oriented and guest-focused culture.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper water maintenance and pool equipment functionality.
- Monitor weather conditions and enforce appropriate safety measures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of incident reports, chemical checks, and other safety protocols.
- Financial & Operational Oversight:
- Monitor expenses and labor costs to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and ordering of poolside amenities.
- Work closely with other departments, including food & beverage and events, to coordinate seamless service.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience & Leadership:
- Proven management experience in hospitality, resort, or pool operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Guest Service & Hospitality Focus:
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Safety & Compliance Knowledge:
- Understanding of pool safety regulations, health codes, and maintenance best practices.
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification (preferred but not required).
Schedule & Seasonal Commitment
- Seasonal position, running during peak months, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
- Must be available weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
