Restaurant Kitchen Manager - Aurora, CO

Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Kitchen Manager in the Aurora area. The ideal restaurant kitchen manager is a take-charge leader who can effectively manage and train a large team, ensure food quality and safety, and drive sales growth while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the management team to drive sales growth and guest satisfaction
• Lead and manage a team of 40-60 hourly employees, overseeing kitchen operations and performance
• Train and educate team members on Health Department rules, company policies, and procedures
• Take charge of resolving issues with team members and kitchen equipment to ensure high standards of quality and safety

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: up to $65,000

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years current experience as a salaried Restaurant Kitchen Manager in a full-service restaurant
• High volume background - must have Restaurant Kitchen Manager experience in establishments doing over $3 million in sales per year
• Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
• Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
• Restaurant Kitchen Manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
