Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 Base + Bonus

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations at a high-energy, scratch-kitchen concept in Rochester, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your culinary expertise and leadership skills to a restaurant that prides itself on quality, consistency, and unforgettable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on kitchen leader with a deep understanding of food prep, team coaching, and operational efficiency. You’ll be instrumental in driving food quality, training BOH team members, and ensuring seamless communication between kitchen and front-of-house operations.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all BOH operations, including prep, line, expo, and smokehouse stations
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
• Train, coach, and mentor kitchen staff to achieve high performance and retention
• Partner with FOH leadership to ensure coordinated and efficient service
• Maintain and improve kitchen systems, including inventory, food safety, and labor planning
• Monitor kitchen performance and support profitability goals through effective leadership

What You Bring

• 1+ years of full-service restaurant management experience (BOH focus)
• Proven experience leading BOH operations in a scratch kitchen environment
• Strong working knowledge of inventory systems and budgeting
• Experience managing kitchen teams and driving culinary standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Chef experience preferred
