Restaurant and Bar Supervisor – Upscale Venue

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant and Bar Supervisor to join a well-established, upscale hospitality venue in Southern California wine country. This role oversees front-of-house operations across multiple outlets, including a full-service restaurant, in-room dining, and a seasonal poolside venue.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a guest-focused environment, has strong attention to detail, and brings a calm, confident presence to every shift.

Compensation:

• $26–$28/hour DOE
• Full-time schedule with weekends and holidays required

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring high service standards
• Act as Manager on Duty during shifts, overseeing FOH staff and guest experience
• Support scheduling, timekeeping, and associate performance tracking
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining environment
• Monitor cost control, inventory, and staff adherence to safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching of FOH staff
• Collaborate with leadership on SOPs, service improvements, and department communication

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting
• Working knowledge of food safety and beverage service
• Comfortable with scheduling, staff management, and basic administrative duties
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler's certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Wine knowledge and hospitality experience in a wine country setting is a plus
