Position Title: Catering Sales Manager
Position Overview:
As a Catering Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth, retaining loyal customers, and delivering outstanding service. You’ll collaborate with clients, chefs, and our operations team to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify leads, initiate contact, and grow overall sales through creative problem-solving and strong communication skills.
- Focus on customer satisfaction with proactive follow-ups, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Build alliances with key decision-makers and adopt a customer-centric approach to selling.
- Oversee all aspects of catering functions, from creating proposals to implementing event plans.
- Work closely with chefs to fully understand menu offerings and ensure order accuracy.
- Attend corporate and social catering events to represent the company and build relationships.
- Collaborate with sales, culinary, and operations teams to ensure events are executed flawlessly.
- Develop and implement annual marketing and sales strategies to meet budget goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of experience in the catering or events industry is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to make a great impression.
- Competitive drive, self-motivation, and determination to succeed.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience crafting professional proposals.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events as needed.
- A passion for food and delivering unforgettable events.
Note:
This role requires in-office work five days a week and a willingness to make outbound calls frequently—an important aspect of the position.
