Salary: $26-$32 hr plus 20% bonus package

We are currently seeking both a Kitchen Supervisor and Kitchen Manager. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and professional; someone who can hit the ground running and put their outstanding leadership skills and operational experience to work from day one.
The ideal candidate will possess the following
- 3+ years of culinary training and/or extensive cooking and high-volume production experience.
- Experience supervising/managing a large crew/staff
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on experience training, developing, and managing staff
- Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency (fresh products, safe quality foods, recipe adherence, cleanliness, etc.)
- A strong passion for food and customer service
- A culinary degree is a plus
- Ability to work a varying schedule
Essential Job Functions
- Inspect product daily to ensure optimum quality.
- Ensure that all safety, sanitation, preventative maintenance, energy management, and other standards are consistently met.
- Sets operational goals and follow-up plans for the department. Holds staff members accountable.
- Schedule and supervise staff in accordance with business needs and adherence to company productivity and service standards.
- Is responsible for the training of new team members and for the ongoing training and development of staff members.
- Assures high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen areas at all times.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Health Dept. Standards and Regulations.
- Ensures that kitchen staff is following proper food handling procedures on an ongoing daily basis and that correct food temperatures are being maintained.
- Ensures all food is prepared in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the purchasing and receiving process for the kitchen of food supplies and merchandise to assure quality, proper par levels, competitive pricing, and proper storage and rotation to minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure that staff members adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform all departmental functions when high volume or emergency situations arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
