We’re seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to take charge of a high-volume, full-service restaurant located within a busy hotel property in Drexel Hill, PA. As Executive Chef, you’ll oversee all back-of-house operations—driving quality, consistency, creativity, and efficiency. From menu development to team leadership and cost control, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
🔥 What You’ll Do
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and timing meet or exceed expectations
- Hire, train, and mentor culinary staff, building a culture of professionalism and accountability
- Design seasonal menus, incorporating current culinary trends and guest preferences
- Manage inventory, food purchasing, and vendor relationships to support cost-effective operations
- Monitor food and labor costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with goals
- Uphold the highest standards for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
- Step in as needed on the line or expo during busy service periods
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in a full-service or hotel restaurant
- Proven success managing kitchen staff, driving performance, and reducing turnover
- Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and ordering systems
- A passion for culinary creativity and menu innovation
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
- Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team during peak periods
