Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Hotel Regional Operations Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple hotel properties. This key leadership role is responsible for aligning operational strategies, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving consistent performance across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic insight, operational efficiency, and passion for hospitality to this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations across multiple hotel properties to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor property performance and implement strategies to maximize operational efficiency and internal & external guest satisfaction.
- Conduct daily site visits, be hands-on with the team, delegate and promptly address any operational challenges.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop general managers and teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support the company’s growth, team member and guest-centric focus.
- Establish clear goals and performance expectations to empower teams across properties, while managing different personalities at each property.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets for each property, ensuring cost control and profit maximization.
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drive innovative revenue-generation strategies while maintaining focus on cost efficiency.
- Guest Experience
- Champion professional guest satisfaction by upholding high standards for service delivery across all properties.
- Actively review feedback, guest surveys, and quality benchmarks to enhance guest experiences.
- Address escalated service issues with professionalism and create long-term solutions to avoid recurrence.
- Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define short- and long-term operational strategies.
- Support new hotel openings, renovations, or branding transitions to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices to maintain competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in hospitality operations management, with at least 5 years in multi-property oversight or regional management roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams across various locations.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Technology: Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), revenue management tools, and related operational technologies.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional critical-thinking and decision-making capabilities to address operational challenges efficiently.
