Job Summary:
As the Banquet Manager, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. You’ll lead a talented team, coordinate with clients and vendors, and uphold our resort’s reputation for excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute banquet events, ensuring flawless service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with sales, culinary, and event planning teams to meet client expectations.
- Oversee budgeting, inventory, and cost control for banquet operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of banquet or event management experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end venue.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ staff.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and beverage service.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
