Job Summary:

As the Banquet Manager, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. You’ll lead a talented team, coordinate with clients and vendors, and uphold our resort’s reputation for excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute banquet events, ensuring flawless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with sales, culinary, and event planning teams to meet client expectations.
  • Oversee budgeting, inventory, and cost control for banquet operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of banquet or event management experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end venue.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and beverage service.
  • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
