Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: Temecula, CA


Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (DOE) + full benefits package


About the Opportunity

An upscale wine country cocktail lounge is seeking a hands-on, hospitality-driven Bar Manager to oversee evening operations. This boutique property features a refined beverage program, craft cocktails, curated wines, and intimate table-side service in a stylish lounge setting. We’re looking for someone who thrives in service leadership, is passionate about mixology, and enjoys curating memorable guest experiences.


Schedule

Varies based on operational needs. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Bar Hours

  • Wednesday–Thursday: 5 PM – 9 PM
  • Friday–Saturday: 5 PM – 12 AM
  • Sunday: 3 PM – 9 PM

You’re a Great Fit If You Have

  • 3–5+ years in bar management within a high-volume or upscale setting
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktail technique, and seasonal beverage trends
  • Experience leading teams, managing bar financials, and driving guest satisfaction
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
  • RBS and Riverside County Food Handler Manager certifications (or ability to obtain)
  • Proficiency in POS systems (Toast preferred) and Microsoft Office


Key Responsibilities

Beverage & Bar Operations

  • Develop seasonal cocktail menus and ensure drink consistency and presentation
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, setup, and compliance with health codes
  • Oversee beverage inventory and control costs
  • Manage bar equipment and supply orders


Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and lead bartenders, servers, and barbacks
  • Provide regular coaching and ensure staff coverage during service
  • Cultivate a positive and professional culture rooted in hospitality


Guest Experience & Events

  • Personally engage with guests and ensure a high-touch experience
  • Address guest concerns and resolve service issues quickly

Support marketing and special event initiatives


Standards & Compliance

  • Uphold safety, service, and sanitation protocols
  • Ensure team follows all appearance and performance standards
