Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial performance to meet or exceed targets.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining top-tier food quality and service.
- Drive sales growth through effective marketing, menu optimization, and customer engagement strategies.
- Manage budgets, P&L statements, and operational costs to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with ownership on expansion initiatives and process improvements.
- Handle customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and build lasting community relationships.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar role in a fast casual or quick-service restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
- Proven ability to lead teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local health regulations and food safety certifications (ServSafe or equivalent preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus, but not required.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and reside in or near Oakland, CA.
