Restaurant Manager/Kitchen Manager


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Restaurant Manager / Kitchen Manager. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, and is eager to grow within a company that values creativity, leadership, and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:


Front-of-House (FOH) Responsibilities:


  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead, train, and motivate FOH staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the dining area.
  • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to drive customer engagement and sales.


Back-of-House (BOH) Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper techniques, recipes, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Step into cooking or prep roles as needed to support the team during busy periods.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, with exposure to both FOH and BOH operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Passion for scratch kitchen concepts and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen equipment, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic financial reporting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
