About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and hospitality-driven General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a world-renowned fine dining restaurant. This role requires an exceptional leader who can maintain the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction while managing all aspects of operations, from financial performance to staff leadership and VIP guest relations.

This is an opportunity to lead an iconic, design-driven restaurant concept in the heart of Indian Wells, known for its elevated culinary program, innovative beverage offerings, and sophisticated guest experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all restaurant operations meet brand standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and speed of service
  • Supervise and mentor managers, supervisors, and hourly team members across FOH and BOH
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Oversee reservations, private dining, and VIP guest engagement
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue, control costs, and achieve P&L targets
  • Conduct daily inspections and periodic audits to maintain safety, compliance, and service standards
  • Collaborate with the corporate beverage team and manage vendor relations for the bar program
  • Respond to guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and service recovery solutions
  • Participate in budget reviews, inventory control, and labor planning
  • Support a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and team collaboration


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
  • Background in Japanese or luxury dining concepts preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, POS systems (Micros Symphony), and OpenTable
  • Valid California Food Safety and Responsible Beverage Service certifications


Work Environment & Schedule

  • Onsite role in Indian Wells, CA
  • Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during special events
