Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at a busy, full-service restaurant in New York City. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all departments.
Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring all service standards are met.
Assist with scheduling, labor management, and inventory control to optimize operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain consistency in food and beverage quality.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution in a professional and timely manner.
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with city and state regulations.
Support management with hiring, onboarding, and performance development of team members.
Help drive sales and manage costs to achieve profitability goals.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume, upscale casual or fine dining environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Solid understanding of restaurant financials, scheduling, and operational systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and guest relations skills.
Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
