Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant in Parsippany, NJ. This role requires a polished, corporate-trained hospitality leader who excels in structured environments, drives financial performance, and builds high-performing teams. The ideal candidate understands brand standards, thrives within corporate systems, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring strict adherence to corporate brand standards
  • Drive service excellence and maintain a strong, visible presence on the floor
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
  • Execute corporate initiatives, promotions, and operational rollouts effectively
Financial Management
  • Own full P&L responsibility including labor management, cost controls, and revenue growth
  • Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve profitability
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to meet cost targets
  • Achieve and exceed sales and performance benchmarks
Team Development
  • Recruit, hire, and develop managers and hourly team members
  • Build a strong leadership bench through training and succession planning
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide structured coaching
  • Create schedules aligned with business levels and labor budgets
Guest Experience
  • Champion a culture of hospitality and accountability
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, service execution, and overall cleanliness
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of General Manager experience in a corporate, full-service restaurant environment
  • Proven success managing high-volume operations
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, labor forecasting, and cost controls
  • Experience working within structured corporate systems and SOPs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
