Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily operations, develop high-performing teams, and consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role is ideal for a developing restaurant leader with fast-casual or quick-service experience who thrives in a high-energy environment and is eager to advance their career with a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including shift execution, inventory control, and financial tracking.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve high standards of service, productivity, and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food quality regulations through regular audits and consistent execution.
- Support sales growth through exceptional guest service, local promotions, and accurate menu execution.
- Monitor labor costs, budgets, and basic P&L components to support profitability goals.
- Address guest concerns professionally and build positive relationships within the Auburn community.
- Serve as acting General Manager when needed, overseeing scheduling, vendor coordination, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant (Assistant Manager, Shift Lead, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Washington State health codes; ServSafe certification preferred.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and located in or willing to relocate to Auburn, WA.
