Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily operations, develop high-performing teams, and consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role is ideal for a developing restaurant leader with fast-casual or quick-service experience who thrives in a high-energy environment and is eager to advance their career with a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including shift execution, inventory control, and financial tracking.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve high standards of service, productivity, and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food quality regulations through regular audits and consistent execution.
  • Support sales growth through exceptional guest service, local promotions, and accurate menu execution.
  • Monitor labor costs, budgets, and basic P&L components to support profitability goals.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and build positive relationships within the Auburn community.
  • Serve as acting General Manager when needed, overseeing scheduling, vendor coordination, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant (Assistant Manager, Shift Lead, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Washington State health codes; ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and located in or willing to relocate to Auburn, WA.
