About the Concept
This is a high volume, destination restaurant concept known for family style Italian dining and large format, celebratory experiences. The operation thrives on energy, teamwork, and hospitality, serving guests in a fast paced environment where consistency, personality, and execution matter.
The restaurant operates in a major tourist corridor and is built for volume, special occasions, banquets, and memorable guest experiences. Leaders in this environment must be confident, visible, and comfortable managing busy services and large teams.
Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager plays a key leadership role supporting the General Manager and senior leadership team. This position is focused on front of house execution, guest experience, and team development while helping maintain operational standards and financial performance.
This is a hands on role for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, coaching teams in real time, and ensuring service standards are executed consistently in a high energy, high volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Guest Experience
• Lead hourly teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain a visible, welcoming presence on the floor during service
• Reinforce service standards, hospitality expectations, and communication
• Ensure Steps of Service are executed consistently on every shift
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in real time
Front of House Operations
• Manage opening, mid, and closing shifts
• Support staffing levels, floor plans, pacing, and service flow
• Ensure proper ambience, cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards
• Oversee dining room, host stand, bar support, and guest relations
• Respond to operational issues and service challenges as they arise
Team Development and People Management
• Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of hourly employees
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Assist with scheduling, performance management, and accountability
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly
• Promote a positive, professional, and team oriented culture
Business and Financial Support
• Support labor management and productivity goals
• Assist with daily sales tracking and operational reporting
• Support banquet execution and special events as needed
• Partner with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service flow
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
Operational Standards and Compliance
• Execute and support all company initiatives and operating standards
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain strong safety, sanitation, and food quality standards
• Ensure accurate use of company systems and processes
Qualifications
• 2 or more years of Restaurant Manager experience in high volume casual or fine dining
• Strong hands on leadership style with a guest first mindset
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable leading teams in fast paced environments
• Experience with POS systems, OpenTable, time and attendance systems, and Microsoft Office
• Strong judgment and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Reliable, professional, and team focused
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
