Job Title: General Manager

Compensation: Up to $80,000 per year

A well established, community focused brewpub located in the mountain town of Idyllwild is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations. This concept is known for house made food, craft beer, and a welcoming local atmosphere that serves both residents and visitors. Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, leading a small but dedicated team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a hands on leader who is comfortable being on the floor, managing costs, developing people, and maintaining strong operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily front of house and back of house operations

Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 employees

Maintain a visible presence on the floor and engage with guests regularly

Drive sales, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency

Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally

Partner with kitchen and bar leadership to maintain quality food and beverage execution

Monitor financial performance and report results to ownership

Identify opportunities to improve systems, culture, and guest experience

Qualifications

Previous experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader

Strong leadership and people development skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Solid understanding of full service restaurant operations

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, hands on environment

Experience with craft beer or scratch kitchens is a plus

Strong financial and cost control knowledge

Comfortable using POS systems and basic office software

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
