Position Overview
As the Executive Chef, you are the heartbeat of our back-of-house. You will oversee all BOH team members, operations, and foodproduction, ensuring every dish meets our exacting standards. Beyond the line, you are a mentor—responsible for coaching, developing Sous Chefs, and fostering a positive, organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Manage all BOH operations, including food production for the main dining room and bar area.
- Mentorship: Train and develop Sous Chefs and team members through consistent coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.
- Quality Control: Supervise and participate in daily butchering and portion control to ensure premium quality and cost efficiency.
- Talent Management: Interview, hire, and cross-train team members to maintain optimal staffing levels and versatile station knowledge.
- Operational Excellence: Lead bi-weekly inventory, manage ordering (produce, seafood, and main supplies), and maintain a neat, clean, and organized kitchen.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly within a team-driven management structure to execute world-class hospitality.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Culinary Skill: Scratch kitchen experience is preferred
- Composure: Proven ability to remain "calm, cool, and collected" under high-pressure, peak-volume shifts.
- Drive: Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to maintaining a professional appearance and industry-leading standards.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to lead a diverse and talented team.
