Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at a high-volume, fast-casual restaurant in Bridgewater, NJ. This role is responsible for driving sales, developing a strong leadership team, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong teams, and leads by example on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing management and hourly team
Create a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture
Coach and mentor Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders
Manage scheduling, labor deployment, and team productivity

Operations Management

Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations
Ensure food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls

Financial Performance

Drive top-line sales through local marketing and community engagement
Manage labor and food cost targets
Analyze P&L statements and implement action plans to improve profitability
Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting procedures

Guest Experience

Deliver exceptional hospitality and resolve guest concerns professionally
Maintain a welcoming, energetic, and clean environment
Lead from the front by engaging with guests and team members

Qualifications

3+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 1 year at the General Manager level
Experience in fast-casual or high-volume environments preferred
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Proven track record of driving sales and controlling costs
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
