General Manager – Celebrity Chef - New Store Opening!

This is a General Manager opportunity to lead one of the most recognized Celebrity Chef-inspired premium fast-casual concepts as it expands across Canada.
This premium brand blends bold flavors, high-quality ingredients, and fast-casual execution—backed by the standards of one of North America’s most celebrated chefs.  As the brand builds and scales nationally, we are seeking a high-caliber General Manager who can operate at both a hands-on leadership level and a strategic business level.
This role is ideal for an experienced restaurant leader who wants to grow with the brand, influence future operations and leadership direction, and play a key role in shaping operational excellence across Canada.

The Role
The General Manager is fully accountable for the overall performance of the restaurant, including guest experience, financial results, people leadership, and brand standards.  You will act as the senior leader on-site, setting the tone for culture, execution, and performance—while partnering closely with ownership and the operations team as the brand expands.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on excellence, consistency, and efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand standards, food safety, and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and high-energy restaurant environment
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, scheduling, and labor optimization
Guest Experience
  • Champion exceptional guest service at every touch point
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively
  • Leverage guest feedback to continuously improve operations and experience
Financial & Business Management
  • Own the restaurant P&L, including labor, food cost, controllable, and profitability
  • Analyze financial reports and trends to drive performance improvements
  • Complete and review weekly and period-end inventories; understand variance reporting and implement corrective action plans
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales and maximize margins
People & Culture Leadership
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership and hourly team
  • Build a strong internal culture rooted in accountability, engagement, and teamwork
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and succession planning
  • Lead by example on the floor and during peak periods
Experience & Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of General Manager or Senior Restaurant Leadership experience
  • Proven success leading high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurants
  • Strong financial acumen with proven P&L ownership
  • Experience building and leading management teams
  • Deep understanding of food safety, labor management, and operational controls
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is an asset
