Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Head of Finance to oversee our North American financial operations from our Los Gatos headquarters. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, optimizing financial systems, and integrating the latest technologies like AI for projections and analytics. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a talented team and collaborate cross-functionally to support our expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with our North American growth objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term projections using advanced AI tools.
• Oversee implementation and optimization of cloud-based financial systems (e.g., ERP, CRM integrations like NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, or similar platforms).
• Lead financial modeling, risk assessment, and scenario planning with cutting-edge analytics and machine learning applications.
• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment strategies to fuel expansion while ensuring compliance with US and international regulations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on M&A opportunities, partnerships, and market entry strategies.
• Integrate emerging fintech solutions, such as blockchain for transactions or AI-powered fraud detection, to streamline operations.
• Prepare executive reports, investor presentations, and board materials with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI enhanced by AI insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in a high-growth tech, consumer goods, or scaling international company.
• Expertise in cloud-based financial systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud integrations for finance ops).
• Proven track record with AI-driven financial tools for projections, predictive analytics, and automation (e.g., experience with tools like IBM Watson, Oracle AI, or custom ML models).
• Deep knowledge of cutting-edge finance programs, including robotic process automation (RPA), real-time reporting, and sustainable finance metrics.
• Strong understanding of North American market dynamics, with experience in scaling operations from European headquarters a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic, and communication skills; ability to thrive in a multicultural, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficiency in modern finance software stacks (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero with AI add-ons, or Hyperion).
