Job Description

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to join a boutique hospitality venue known for its elegant dining, versatile event spaces, and exceptional guest experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building client relationships and driving revenue, without being responsible for event execution.


About the Role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and converting event and group business, including weddings, corporate functions, and social events. With operational and execution support already in place, this role is fully focused on sales performance, client acquisition, and revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development:

  • Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, and local partnerships
  • Manage inbound inquiries and convert leads into booked events
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools and consistent follow-up
  • Identify opportunities to maximize usage of event spaces including restaurant and ballroom


Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact through the sales process, from initial inquiry through contract execution
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Present the property, packages, and offerings in a compelling and consultative manner


Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with the events and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to execution
  • Maintain clear communication internally to support client expectations and event success


Revenue Focus:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Track performance metrics, conversion rates, and booking pace
  • Support pricing strategies to remain competitive while maximizing revenue


Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of hospitality sales experience, preferably in weddings, events, or group sales
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
  • Experience with CRM systems and event sales tools is a plus


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000 – $65,000
