As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will oversee critical front-of-house operations under the Restaurant Manager’s direction while ensuring compliance with our exceptional standards. Located in Buckeye, AZ, this role offers a competitive salary range between $55,000 and $65,000 per year.
Job Qualifications:
To be successful in this role as Assistant Restaurant Manager, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in POS software and other relevant tools.
- Current Food Handler’s Manager’s Certification and Arizona Title 4 Liquor Certification.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 pounds, as well as safely rearrange restaurant furniture when necessary.
- Capability of working 40+ hours per week under standard restaurant conditions, including weekends, holidays, or during inclement weather.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, organizational efficiency, and problem-solving ability.
Job Responsibilities:
In this critical role as Assistant Restaurant Manager in Buckeye, AZ, you’ll be responsible for:
People Management:
- Training, supervising, and assisting in scheduling food and beverage front-of-house team members.
- Conducting daily and weekly inspections of operations to maintain high standards.
Operational Oversight:
- Supervising daily shifts to ensure smooth delivery of services and timely execution of orders.
- Managing hostess staff and ensuring all greeting and seating procedures align with company standards.
- Monitoring current and future events, reservations, and requirements to foster seamless operations.
- Maintaining clear communication with supervising managers to address any operational challenges.
Standards and Integrity:
- Demonstrating a positive, professional, and passionate attitude as a representative of the restaurant.
- Participating in staff meetings, ongoing training, and enforcing food & beverage service policies.
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and labor law standards at all times.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
- Quickly resolving operational or guest challenges alongside the Restaurant Manager.
- Reporting equipment and supply issues promptly to maintain superior functionality.
- Keeping the leadership team informed about guest feedback and other departmental matters.
