Position Summary:
The Banquet Chef is responsible for leading all culinary operations related to private events, weddings, and large-scale functions. This role requires a highly organized and creative culinary professional who can execute high-volume service while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and execute menus for banquets, weddings, and special events of varying sizes
- Lead and manage the banquet kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Coordinate closely with event, sales, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless execution of events
- Oversee food production timelines to ensure timely service for large-scale functions
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls to meet budget targets
- Develop and update banquet menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends
- Ensure proper kitchen organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot and adapt quickly during live events to maintain service excellence
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of culinary experience, with significant banquet or high-volume event experience
- Proven leadership experience in a kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to execute large-scale events with precision and consistency
- Knowledge of food safety standards and local health regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
